Janet Patterson uses primarily watercolor. In her work, she takes full advantage of the spontaneity the medium affords.
She has painted many floral watercolors, at times in a botanical style, including large paintings which hang in offices of several corporations.
She is a graduate of Syracuse University and a former textile designer with Fieldcrest Mill.
