Stephanie
Canizares is a painter and printmaker.
Her
main concern is to create a good composition and color pattern while at
the same time to capture the essential character of the sitter. Watercolor
is her preferred medium for traveling, and her brushes and paints always
accompany her on her many trips.
Her
work is in private and public collections, among them the Hudson River
Museum, Long Island University, Tuckahoe Village Hall and Library, Pepsico,
Nynex and other corporations. She is a member and Medal of Honor winner
of the National Association of Women Artists, the Print Club of Albany
and other art associations.
